1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide a valid email address and verify it before accessing the Service.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of spam, abuse, or impersonation.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or spam
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with the operation or availability of the Service

4. Content

You retain ownership of content you create (testimonies, beliefs, prayer requests, study notes, etc.). By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content to members of your family group(s) as part of the Service's functionality.

We do not claim ownership of your content. If you delete your account, your content will be removed or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Family Groups

• Family leaders may invite members, manage roles, and moderate content within their group.
• Content shared within a family group is visible to all members of that group.
• Leaders may remove members from a family group at their discretion.

6. SMS Messaging

If you opt in to SMS notifications, the following terms apply:

• SMS is optional and not required to use the Service.
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
• Message frequency varies based on your family's activity (up to 10 messages/week).
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
• Reply HELP for support information.

7. Bible Content

Bible verse text displayed in the Service is sourced from third-party providers (api.bible, YouVersion). We do not claim authorship of Scripture text. Usage is subject to the respective providers' terms and copyright notices, which are displayed alongside the content.

8. Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• Account deletion has a 24-hour grace period during which you may cancel.
• After deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed per our Privacy Policy.
• Some data may be anonymized rather than deleted where other users depend on it (e.g., topics you submitted that others voted on).
• You may export all your data before deletion via Settings.

9. Availability & Changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
